Discover the beauty of Sweden’s west coast by bike on the renowned Kattegattleden. This relaxing four-day cycling adventure follows one of Europe’s most scenic coastal bike routes, combining nature, charming seaside towns, and memorable cultural stops.
Starting in the vibrant coastal city of Helsingborg, you’ll cycle north along safe bike paths and gentle coastal roads with the sea never far away. Along the way you’ll pass through picturesque towns such as Ängelholm and the charming fishing village of Torekov, known for its harbor, narrow streets, and relaxed seaside atmosphere.
A standout feature of the route is the striking coastline at Hovs Hallar, where rugged cliffs plunge into the sea and panoramic views extend across the Kattegat. Here you’ll experience one of the most spectacular natural areas along the route.
Continue cycling through open coastal landscapes, sandy beaches, and lively summer towns before reaching Halmstad. Throughout the tour you’ll stay in comfortable hotels and enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop for a swim, a seaside café, or simply take in the view.
Additional equipment can be arranged for an extra fee, such as helmets, panniers (bike bags), a repair kit, child seats, and bike trailers, etc.
Bike collection: The bike, including pannier, helmet, and lock, is collected at Travelshop in Helsingborg. Bike return: Takes place at KiteKalle short distance from the train station at their designated bicycle parking area. Please leave the keys to them.
